CANAH Shelled hemp seeds offer a healthy dose of fibre and are also rich in vitamins and minerals. With a high concentration of fatty acids, hemp seeds have an optimal Omega 6 – Omega 3 ratio of 3:1.

Omega 3 fatty acids (alpha Linolenic acid – ALA) and Omega 6 (Linoleic acid – LA) contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol. Essential fatty acids are also needed for normal growth and development of children. These beneficial effects are obtained with a daily intake of 2 g of alfa-linolenic acid (ALA) and a daily intake of 10 g of linoleic acid (LA).

A single portion of 30 g of hulled hemp seeds offers you 10 g of protein, 1.8 g of fibre, 11 g of polyunsaturated fats and, as a perk, less than 1 g of carbs.
