Hemp seeds are the only natural source known of having the ideal ratio of Essential Fatty Acids required by the human body, which is roughly 3:1 of omega-6 to omega-3, the two most important EFAs.
Essential fatty acids are called “essential” because our body cannot manufacture them and therefore they must be part of our daily diet. EFAs are not used for energy or stored like other fats we eat. They are used as raw materials for the cell structure and as precursors for many of the body’s vital biochemicals, including hormones and prostaglandins.
We obtain every drop of our oil by slowly cold-pressing fresh hemp seeds. During each step of the process we take great care to protect the fragile EFAs that make the oil so beneficial for health.
The deliciously subtle, nutty flavor of our hemp seed oil makes it the ideal accompaniment to a wide range of dishes from vegetable to fruit salads, pasta, rice recipes or grilled vegetables.
We bottle our oil in 250ml or 500ml violet glass bottles with nitrogen sealing. Unlike dark brown or dark green glass which block all rays of light, violet glass filters the light spectrum. It rejects all other rays of light except IR and UV-A which protect the freshness and the high bio photon level of our oil.
Canah Hemp Seed Oil should be stored in the fridge after opening and consumed within 6 months.

I see that you have hemp seed oil, one organic certified and other Natural. What are the differences between the two? Is oil the same in Natural and in organic certified?

Dear Gregor,
the organic certified version of our products is produced from organic certified seeds which guarantees that during the cultivation process of the organic certified hemp the farmers did not use any chemical fertilizers, pesticides etc. The natural version of our products is produces from conventional seeds, with no organic certification. The production process of both versions is the same, our factory is certified organic and we do not use any additional substances other than raw hemp seeds for any of our products.

As is well known cannabis has no pests, so pesticides are probably not used. So if I choose Natural version, this would be best choice between quality and price? Please correct me if Im wrong.

you are partially right. Hemp pests exist but at the same time it is a very sturdy plant and grows very easily and the need for chemicals is minimal. We test all our seeds for pesticide residues, both conventional and organic certified just be 100% sure of what we are processing and the results have been negative for a vast series of chemicals during the last 5 years. Considering these aspects the ratio between 100% natural and price is better for the Natural (Conventional) version of the products.
However, there is more to organic lifestyle and products than the simple lack of chemical residues which makes people “vote” for organic products whenever they buy food. It is the philosophy of environment protection, less chemicals in our lives, intelligent end ecological soil management through rotation of crops, a collaboration with nature and not a constant fight against it, a choice to encourage smaller farms with more human implication in the production process versus highly industrialized production and just computers and machines…etc
