Ingredients:
- 500g wholegrain wheat flour
- 75g hemp flour
- 350 ml water (milk)
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 teaspoons of brown sugar
- 3-4 teaspoons of hemp oil
- 100g shelled seeds
- Yeast: ½ lump of fresh yeast or a pack of dry yeast
The shelled seeds are added towards the end of the process, so that they remain whole in the bread.
Polenta with hemp flour
Mix maize meal, 75% of the whole quantity, with hemp flour25%. Use a little more water than usually, as hemp flour absorbs more water. Otherwise the preparation is the same.
Hemp flour is also used for noodles, pasta, biscuits etc. to an extent of maximum 15%. For the remaining 85% wheat flour or other types of flour containing gluten need to be used.
